Clinical Oncology
We are fortunate in having a team that can offer comprehensive care for animals suffering from cancer, from the initial diagnosis to the most appropriate treatment in each individual case. We use imaging or a cytological study of a biopsy to diagnose the type of tumour, and can carry out the most complex surgery, with each member of the team playing his or her part in treating your pet.
In recent years we have regularly presented relevant clinical cases at various national conferences.
- Medical Oncology.
Responsible for diagnosis, classifying the disease, and evaluating the patient. We carry out chemotherapy using the most up-to-date regimens (Wisconsin-Madison for lymphoma, intralesional chemotherapy in squamous cell carcinoma), we evaluate the toxicity of the treatment, and the patient’s response to it.
- Surgical Oncology.
Our surgeons can handle the most complex surgical procedures, such as mandibulectomy, maxillectomy, thoracic surgery, surgery on bone tumours, etc.
